Installing and updating FFXIV on an older laptop to see if I can continue playing while my other laptop is in repairs. Looks like I’m going to be here a long while…

Didn’t quite come out as expected, but was edible at least

I’m now officially without a personal laptop…

I’m now officially without a laptop. I’m using my work laptop where I can and my phone elsewhere but I’m still going to be intermittently online/offline — predominantly offline. Trying to get an older laptop setup with Windows 8 (for some reason Windows 7 refused to run FFXIV, barfing out a weird DirectX error)
