What’s one thing you know now that would have saved your younger self a lot of pain?

You can’t please everyone.

I spent longer than I would like to admit trying to take on board every comment I received, trying to please every commenter, before realising it wasn’t possible, and indeed, I shouldn’t try to please every commenter — and doing so would risk me running down the path of having an unhealthy and dangerous view of my own body (which, admittedly, I still do have, but I don’t follow those thoughts any more)
