What’s the best way to explore a new city?

If you have friends or family in or near the place you are visiting, then they are going to be the best and cheapest way of exploring that city.

If you don’t, then a sightseeing tour would work, they normally highlight the main attractions.

Or you can put down a list of things you want to see mainly, and go for them first, detouring when you see, or learn about something you are interested in.
