My answer is going to be a bit lame but it was when a complete stranger decided to buy my next drink at a pub.

I was there working since the office had some power issues and she was asking the barkeep if they had a charger.

I did and let her use them, it was a bit of a frankenstein setup (an Anker plug with 2 USB sockets, then a USB-A to micro-usb cable with a micro-usb-to-usb-c adapter on the end. She had a usb-c phone, and I didn’t)

She didn’t want to accept thinking it would trouble me, but I was okay, I was charging my phone off my laptop and I’d be there a few hours anyway, and she was going to heading off on a trip so needed some juice before going.

She insisted on buying my next drink as thanks. I accepted 🥰
