What’s a moment when a stranger completely restored your faith in people?

There was definitely one time, I was driving home and I saw a small black blob at the side of the road.

I slowed down and that blob started walking across the road — it was a small kitten, tiny.

Then out of the blue, a guy appeared and started stopping traffic, while keeping a safe distance behind the kitten as they crossed the road, shielding it and making sure the cars didn’t run the poor kitty over.

The guy then crossed back to the other side after the kitten had made it across safely, giving a 👍 to both sets of traffic as a thank you and then we all went on our way.
