Got surprised by an unexpected delivery….. of loo roll.

TEN packs of NINE loo rolls. Ninety (90) loo rolls.

Someone sent that to my unit, and it wasn’t me.

It was sold by Amazon, so most likely it was intended for someone else at the storage warehouse.

Was on support chat with Amazon this morning to try to figure out what was going on. It wasn’t charged to my card, and it wasn’t an account in my name. Both my Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk did not show any orders for loo roll on my accounts. And Amazon checked several of my cards to check whether any of those were charged. None were.

So someone paid for (and sent to me) 90 rolls of loo roll. They are now £60 out of pocket as a result….

Amazon told me to either keep them, donate them or throw them away. I’ll probably donate them to the warehouse reception so they can stock the customer and staff toilets.
